Healthy Minds | Helping you cope...


Many people experience common mental health problems at some point in their lives. Life changing events like the loss of a loved one, loss of employment, or even just everyday life stresses can lead to difficulties and you may need help and support. Common mental health problems are easily developed. Depression, anxiety, stress, panics, eating problems and loss of sleep make it difficult for us to cope with daily demands.

Healthy Minds is a service to help you when support is needed. We can work with you to help you examine how you are coping and develop your coping skills. All staff have received special training to offer support through a stepped model of integrated care.

Voluntary Sector Counselling Consortium

The Families Health and Well Being Consortium are developing a collaborative approach to IAPT/Mental health and well being services in East Lancashire. The Consortium is working closely with East Lancs CCG to ensure that those VCF organisations currently delivering services and support to local residents, work better together to provide a consistent and equitable service across Pennine Lancashire. The Consortium, with its constituent member organisations Lancashire Womens Centre, Child Action North West, the Magdalene Project and Free-Flow Counselling are working towards an agreed assessment process, a simple referral system and a shared reporting mechanism, underpinned by an assurance of quality provision to meet local need.
